Join the Construction Association of Nova Scotia (CANS) for the Construction Job Fair, which will take place on February 8, 2024, at the Cedar Event Centre.
This one-day event will bring together industry employers with curated and qualified job seekers for an industry-specific job fair! Connect directly with job seekers actively seeking work in construction and the trades.

Update your calendars — CANS Construction Job Fair is moving to the Cedar Event Centre!
CANS Construction Job Fair has a new home! The event on February 8 is now at the Cedar Event Centre (111 Clayton Park Dr, Halifax, NS). The Cedar Event Centre is part of the Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church complex, located at the corner of Clayton Park Drive and Dunbrack Street in Halifax. Completed in June 2020, it is a modern, accessible, multi-functional event space.
Planned originally at the Halifax Forum, the Province and HRM announced on January 8, 2024, that an emergency shelter would operate out of the space until August 2024. CANS is excited to welcome job seekers and employers to our new event venue, The Cedar Event Centre.
