MEMO — HRM’s Metric Measurement Requirements

HRM’s Metric Measurement Requirements

April 1, 2021 / HRM –  Planning & Development —

“Over the last few months, staff have continued to engage and discuss with development industry stakeholders on the transition to metric measurements relative to the new Permitting, Planning and Licensing and Compliance online application.”

Planning & Development staff thank you for your contribution. Your feedback as the transition continues is greatly appreciated.

*A full transition to metric drawings is not being sought at this time. However, to assist future transition plans, it is recommended you introduce the metric system into the processes surrounding new designs.
