Upcoming CCDC Document Webinars: January & February 2023

CCDC’s winter schedule is focused on helping you build a solid foundation in construction management.

January – CCDC 5A & CCDC 17 webinar

January’s webinar will give an overview and comparison of construction management (CM) methods focusing on CCDC 5A and CCDC 17. CCDC 5A is a service contract between the Owner and Construction Manager where the Owner contracts directly with Trade Contractors using CCDC 17.

The webinar will discuss the differences between this method and using CCDC 5B, a contract for services and construction for which the Construction Manager engages Trade Contractors as subcontractors and is responsible for their performance. The webinar will present the key provisions and philosophy behind the CM methods. Click here to learn more and register for January’s session.

What are CCDC Document Webinars?

In October 2021, CCDC launched CCDC Document Webinars, an exciting new initiative aimed at providing information and guidance about the content and use of these standard construction documents. These author-led sessions are designed to explain the underlying principles behind CCDC documents and teach you their correct application and use.
