CANS 2025 Home Depot Pro De-Icer officially launched the construction season on Friday, April 25 — and did so in unforgettable style. This year’s event brought nearly 1,900 industry professionals to the Halifax Convention Centre, making it our largest De-Icer yet!

Attendees were treated to a gourmet dining experience, with entrée options including poached lobster, roast chicken, pork loin, and a vibrant roasted berbere and lime cauliflower steak. An impressive selection of hors d’oeuvres, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages rounded out the evening’s culinary highlights. 

The energy in the room was electric, with opportunities to reconnect, network, and celebrate with colleagues from across the construction industry. Many gathered in our comfortable lounge space, while others captured memories in our lively photo booth. The night ended on a high note with a dynamic performance from local band Renwick Station, while in classic De-Icer fashion, the game played behind on the big screen.
