CANS Staff to Tour Construction Sites Across HRM

As part of our ongoing commitment to workforce development and experiential learning, your CANS team will soon be heading out for a full-day tour of active construction sites across HRM. These visits are designed to give staff firsthand exposure to the work our members do, helping us better understand the realities of construction and enhance the relevance and quality of the services we provide.

The day will begin with a visit to the Trades Exhibition Hall, followed by guided tours of several member sites. At each location, staff will engage directly with project teams, observe operations in progress, and gain valuable insight into the challenges and innovations shaping our industry.

We’re grateful to the member companies who have agreed to host us, and we look forward to learning from their teams on-site. Their willingness to share time and expertise plays a vital role in helping us stay connected to the industry’s evolving needs.

This initiative builds on the success of our 2022 site tour, which provided valuable exposure to field operations and sparked meaningful conversations across our team. We’re excited to continue this tradition and look forward to future opportunities!
