BFY & CANS Construction Connection Program – Virtual Q&A Will Help Youth Explore Construction Careers from Home

May 5, 2020/in front, Uncategorized/by CANS

Just because we’re social distancing doesn’t mean we can’t safely explore careers in construction together! Do you know any youth who are eager to learn more about a career in construction and the trades? Share this information with them! They’ll be able to explore careers in construction from the comfort of home with our upcoming series of virtual Q&A sessions.

Every Thursday from May 7 – June 15, Building Futures for Youth and CANS Construction Connection will host virtual Q&A sessions with successful local tradespeople and construction professionals.

Session One – Howie Doiron, Red Seal Carpenter

  • Date: Thursday, May 7
  • Time: 2:00 p.m. (approx. 30-45 minutes)
  • Who: Howie Doiron, Regional Director and Red Seal Certified Carpenter with Lindsay Construction in Sydney, NS
  • Click here to register for this Zoom session now!

For more information, please contact Alain Lefebvre, alefebvre@cans.ns.ca or 902-456-6444.
