Join CANS Team! Hiring: Director, Marketing & Communications

The Director of Marketing & Communications is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing CANS’ internal and external communications, brand identity, marketing initiatives and public profile. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the role leads the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of marketing and communications strategies that promote CANS, support its programs and services, and strengthen the reputation of both the association and Nova Scotia’s construction industry.

Working closely with the Executive Management Team and departmental leaders, the Director develops and executes integrated marketing and communications plans across traditional, digital and emerging channels. The position is responsible for establishing strategic objectives, managing budgets, policies and procedures, and measuring results to ensure CANS’ communications and marketing activities effectively advance the organization’s goals, enhance stakeholder engagement and build awareness of its brand and advocacy efforts.
