Spring weight restrictions for trucking and transportation go into effect March 4
The Department of Public Works has announced that starting March 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., spring weight restrictions will be implemented for the following counties: Annapolis, Digby, Lunenburg, Queens, Kings, Shelburne, Yarmouth, Halifax, Hants, Colchester, Cumberland Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, Cape Breton Inverness, Richmond, and Victoria.
Some roads, including 100-series highways, are exempt from the restrictions.
