CANS 2026 Home Depot Pro De-Icer officially launched the construction season on Friday, April 17 — and did so in unforgettable style. Nearly 2,000 industry professionals gathered at the Halifax Convention Centre, making this the largest De-Icer in CANS history. It was a strong start to the year and a true celebration of industry connection.

Attendees enjoyed a gourmet dining experience, with entrée selections including poached lobster, roast chicken, pork loin, and a vibrant roasted berbere and lime cauliflower steak. An impressive selection of hors d’oeuvres, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages rounded out the evening’s culinary highlights.

The atmosphere was energetic and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities to reconnect, network and celebrate with colleagues from across the construction industry. Guests took advantage of the lounge space for quieter conversations, captured moments in the photo booth, and wrapped up the night with a lively performance by local band The Ordeals.
