Thanks to all attendees of CANS 2026 Awards Gala, presented by Home Depot

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the CANS 2026 Awards Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence, leadership and innovation across Nova Scotia’s construction industry.

Held at the Halifax Convention Centre, the Gala brought together industry professionals, partners, government representatives, sponsors, and guests from across the province to recognize the outstanding individuals and companies that continue to shape and strengthen our industry.

The evening began with a networking reception, providing over 150 attendees with an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, make new connections, and celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s finalists and award recipients. Guests then gathered for dinner and the formal awards program, emceed by Peter Anthony, who guided attendees through an evening of recognition, celebration, and storytelling.

Throughout the night, CANS recognized individuals and organizations whose dedication, innovation, professionalism and leadership are helping move the construction industry forward. Award recipients represented a wide range of disciplines and specialties and demonstrated the exceptional talent that exists throughout Nova Scotia’s construction sector.

Congratulations to all finalists and recipients. Your achievements serve as an inspiration to colleagues, employers, and the next generation of construction professionals.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, celebrated with peers, and helped create an energetic and memorable evening. Your participation continues to strengthen the connections that make our industry successful.
