June 30, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: Four New Cases of COVID-19, No Recoveries – As of June 30, Nova Scotia is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 and no recoveries. Three cases are in Eastern Zone and are close contacts of previously reported cases. The other case is in Central Zone and is related to travel. Read more.

June 29, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: One New Case of COVID-19, Seven Recoveries – As of June 29, Nova Scotia is reporting one new case of COVID-19 and seven recoveries. The case is in Eastern Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case. Read more. 
• Business Support: Digital Program Launching to Support Small Businesses – A new $2.5 million program is now available to help small businesses across Nova Scotia attract more customers and grow sales in the digital economy. The Digital Assistance Program for Small Business allows eligible businesses to connect with digital consultants for services such as website development, digital marketing strategies and e-commerce tools, up to a value of $5,000. June 28, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: Four New Cases of COVID-19, Four Recoveries – As of June 28, Nova Scotia is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries. Three cases are in Eastern Zone. Two are under investigation and the other is a close contact of a previously reported case. Read more.
• Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 30 and are scheduled to receive their second dose on or before Sept. 12 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates. Notification emails will go out in batches up until the end of day June 30. Read more. 

June 26, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: 11 New Cases of COVID-19, Nine Recoveries, Delta and Gamma Variants Identified – As of, June 26, Nova Scotia is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 and nine recoveries. The National Microbiology Lab has confirmed two Delta variant cases and one Gamma variant case. These cases were previously reported. Read more.

June 25, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: 16 New Cases of COVID-19, 15 Recoveries, State of Emergency Renewed – As of June 25, Nova Scotia is reporting 16 new cases of COVID-19 and 15 recoveries. Fifteen of the cases are in Central Zone. Eleven are close contacts and four are related to travel. The close contacts are within a linked group of families and do not represent wide community spread. Read more.
• Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 20 and are scheduled to receive their second dose on or before September 2 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates. Notification emails will go out in batches over several days. Read more.

June 24, 2021:

• Travel Update: Update to New Brunswick Border Restrictions – Nova Scotia is opening its border to people travelling from New Brunswick without restrictions starting June 30 at 8 a.m. There will be no requirements to self-isolate or complete the Nova Scotia Safe Check-in. Read more.

June 18, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: 11 New Cases of COVID-19, 15 recoveries – Today, June 18, Nova Scotia is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 and 15 recoveries. Nine cases are in Central Zone. Six are close contacts of previously reported cases, two are under investigation and one is related to travel. Two cases are in Eastern Zone and are related to travel. Read more.

June 17, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: 14 New Cases of COVID-19, Nine recoveries – Today, June 17, Nova Scotia is reporting 14 new cases of COVID-19 and nine recoveries. Twelve cases are in Central Zone. Eleven are close contacts of previously reported cases and the other is under investigation. Read more.

June 16, 2021:

• Business Support: New Immigration Pathways for Construction Sector to Hire Skilled Workers – The Nova Scotia government is helping fill labour gaps by connecting immigrants who have in-demand skills with employers who need their help. Changes to the Occupations in Demand immigration stream announced June 16, allow employers to hire international newcomers to fill heavy equipment operator (except crane operators) and construction trade helper and labourer positions. • Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 1 and are scheduled to receive their second dose on or before August 14 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates.. Read more.
• COVID-19 Update: Eight New Cases of COVID-19, 13 recoveries – As of June 16, Nova Scotia is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 and 13 recoveries. Read more. 

June 15, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: Four New Cases of COVID-19, 29 recoveries – Today, June 15, Nova Scotia is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 and 29 recoveries. Read more. 
• COVID-19 Update: Nova Scotia Reopening to Atlantic Provinces – Nova Scotia is lifting its border restrictions and opening to the rest of Atlantic Canada on June 23, Premier Iain Rankin announced today, June 15. This means that residents of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador can travel to Nova Scotia and will not be required to self-isolate for 14 days on entering the province. • Immunization Update: In-home COVID-19 Vaccination Program Expands – Nova Scotians who are unable to attend a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in their community because of significant health and mobility challenges are now able to receive their first vaccination at home. Beginning today, June 15, people who are not able to leave their homes to attend a scheduled vaccine appointment can request an in-home appointment by calling 211. Read more.

June 14, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: One Death, Eight New Cases of COVID-19, 22 recoveries – Today, June 14, Nova Scotia is reporting a death related to COVID-19. A woman in her 80s has died in Central Zone. Nova Scotia is also reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 and 22 recoveries. Read more. Read more.
• Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before April 24 and are scheduled to receive their second dose on or before Aug. 7 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates. Read more.

June 11, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: Update on Asymptomatic Testing, New Workplace Testing Initiative  – The province continues to expand its asymptomatic testing strategy with the new Nova Scotia COVID-19 Rapid Screening Program for Workplaces. The program supports employers across the province to put in place regular screening for their staff. Read more. 
• COVID-19 Update: One Death, Eight New Cases of COVID-19, Delta Variant Cases Identified, State of Emergency Renewed –  As of June 11, Nova Scotia is reporting a death related to COVID-19. A man in his 50s has died in Central Zone. Nova Scotia is also reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 and 11 recoveries. The National Microbiology Lab has confirmed two Delta variant cases. June 10, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: 15 New Cases of COVID-19, 31 Recoveries – As of June 10, Nova Scotia is reporting 15 new cases of COVID-19 and 31 recoveries. There are 12 new cases in Central Zone. June 9, 2021:

• Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before April 10 and are scheduled to receive their second dose on or before July 24 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates. Read more.
• COVID-19 Update: 13 New Cases of COVID-19, 20 Recoveries – As of June 9, Nova Scotia is reporting 13 new cases of COVID-19 and 20 recoveries. There are seven new cases in Central Zone. Two of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases. Two are related to travel and three are under investigation. Read more.

June 8, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: 17 New Cases of COVID-19, 28 Recoveries – Today, June 8, Nova Scotia is reporting 17 new cases of COVID-19 and 28 recoveries. There are nine new cases in Central Zone. Five of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and four are under investigation. Read more. 
• Immunization Information: AstraZeneca Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in the province on or before April 21 will be able to reschedule their second dose appointment before June 30. Read more.

June 7, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: 14 New Cases of COVID-19, 36 Recoveries – As of June 7, Nova Scotia is reporting 14 new cases of COVID-19 and 36 recoveries. There are 11 new cases in Central Zone. Nine of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and two are under investigation. Two of the cases in Central Zone were reported Sunday, June 6, and are connected to Graham Creighton Junior High in Dartmouth and Bedford and Forsyth Education Centres (Dartmouth Campus). June 4, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: Updates for Rotational workers (working outside the province) – Starting 8 June 2021, there are different self-isolation requirements for vaccinated and unvaccinated rotational workers returning to Nova Scotia. Learn more.
• COVID-19 Update – 15 New Cases of COVID-19, 37 Recoveries – As of June 4, Nova Scotia is reporting 15 new cases of COVID-19 and 37 recoveries. There are nine new cases in Central Zone. Six of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases, two are related to travel and one is under investigation. Six cases are in Eastern Zone. Four of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and two are related to travel. There is limited community spread in Central Zone. Eastern, Northern and Western Zones continue to be closely monitored for community spread. Read more.

June 3, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: One Death, 25 New Cases of COVID-19, 60 Recoveries – As of June 3, Nova Scotia is reporting one death related to COVID-19. A man in his 30s has died in Central Zone. Nova Scotia is also reporting 25 new cases of COVID-19 and 60 recoveries. There are 15 new cases in Central Zone. Eleven of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases, two are related to travel and two are under investigation. Read more. 
• Immunization Update: COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Rescheduling – Nova Scotians who received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine between March 11 and 21 and are scheduled to receive their second dose between June 24 and July 3 can now reschedule their appointments for earlier dates. June 2, 2021: 

• COVID-19 Update: Two Deaths, 17 New Cases of COVID-19, 72 Recoveries, Vaccine-Related Thrombosis Confirmed – As of June 2, Nova Scotia is reporting two deaths related to COVID-19. Two men, both in their 60s, have died in Central Zone. Nova Scotia is also reporting 17 new cases of COVID-19 and 72 recoveries. There are 12 new cases in Central Zone. Eight of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases, two are related to travel and two are under investigation. Read more. 

June 1, 2021:

• COVID-19 Update: 12 New Cases of COVID-19, 91 Recoveries – As of June 1, Nova Scotia is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 and 91 recoveries. There are eight new cases in Central Zone. Six of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and two cases are under investigation. Three cases are in Eastern Zone. Two of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and the other case is under investigation. Read more. 
• Immunization Update: Nova Scotia Resumes Use of AstraZeneca Vaccine – Nova Scotia will resume the use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine for second doses only, effective today, June 1. The decision comes after the National Advisory Committee on Immunization updated its guidance on the interchangeability of COVID-19 vaccines approved for use by Health Canada. Read more.
