50% Off CANS Education & Training – Eligibility Form

CANS Education is proud to have partnered with the Province of Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration (LSI) through the Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI) Program to offer eligible members a 50% discount on most CANS Education and Training programs. This program helps maximize your training budget while strengthening your workforce and competitiveness.

Example – Project Management Fundamentals:

  • Member price: $600.00*
  • WIPSI-eligible price: $300.00*

FAQ

What is required to determine WIPSI eligibility?

A company representative must complete and submit the Business Information Form to the CANS Education team/

To qualify, the company:

  • Is located in Nova Scotia
  • Has an active status in the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks
  • Has been in existence for more than one calendar year
  • Generates at least 30% of revenue from commercial activity*
    • *Companies operating in an identified priority sector may be eligible if not yet generating revenue.

If my company is eligible, are all employees eligible?

No. Only employees who are permanent residents of Nova Scotia are eligible for the WIPSI discount.

What is required once my company is approved?

Participants must complete all required documentation, including:

  • Sign-in sheet at the start of training
  • Trainee Declaration Form upon completion

Companies must also complete one WIPSI survey at the end of the training period.

Are there payment or attendance requirements?
Invoices must be paid prior to the course start date. Participants must attend the full course to retain WIPSI funding. If a participant is absent without notice or cancels after the 10-business day cancellation deadline, the full course fee will apply.
