Environment Canada has issued an alert for a winter storm that will bring an extended period of potentially severe freezing rain over parts of Nova Scotia. Inclement weather is expected to begin tonight, Thursday, February 3, and continue into Saturday. We strongly suggest you ensure your worksites are secured in advance of this storm. To help raise awareness and reduce the harms of substance use, Health Canada and the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) have partnered to produce a toolkit of resources called Substance Use and the Workplace: Supporting Employers and Employees in the Trades.
