Our annual Awards Dinner recognized David Wood‘s contributions to the construction industry as the recipient of the 2025 Honourary Life Membership Award. Through the designation of Honourary Life Member, CANS recognizes individuals who, through their deeds and actions, have significantly contributed to the betterment of the Association, the industry, and the attainment of CANS goals and visions.

Building Futures for Youth Awards

This year, our Building Futures for Youth (BFY) team awarded two BFY Host Employer awards to Host Employers who are champions of the next generation of construction talent.

Eastcut Wood Building Solutions was awarded the BFY Host Employer Ambassador Award, and Black & McDonald was awarded the BFY Long-Term Host Award.

CANS Industry Awards

CANS’ newly expanded awards program features five awards recognizing the outstanding contributions of individuals and companies shaping the future of our province’s construction sector.
