The Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) shared the results of their Construction Initiative site visits over April 15-17, 2020. Along with confirming traditional safety compliance, the Province was looking for the presence of a COVID-19 plan and appropriate measures for handwashing and social distancing. The Government of Canada announced a $9 billion support package for students on April 22, 2020.
