Notice // Updates to CCDC Documents - Construction Association Of Nova Scotia

As of May 21, 2024, a number of new CCDC documents have been introduced, and a number have been discontinued:

CCDC 2CcQ – 2024 ‘Stipulated Price Contract (Civil Code of Québec Version)’ – plus copyright seal
- This form is intended for use with Quebec’s unique Civil Code.
CCA 1CcQ – 2024 ‘Stipulated Price Subcontract (Civil Code of Québec Version)’ – plus copyright seal
CCDC 20 – 2024 ‘Guide to Construction Contract Administration’
- This form replaces the old CCDC 20 with significant changes.

CCDC 16 – 2024 ‘Guide to Changes in the Contract’
- This form replaces the old CCA 16.
CCDC 220, 221, 222 – 2024 ‘Bond Forms’ (CCDC 220 ‘Bid Bond’, CCDC 221 ‘Performance Bond’ and CCDC 222 ‘Labour & Material Payment Bond’)

CCDC 12 – 1994 ‘Project Financial Information’
- This form is seldom used and was discontinued in favour of a soon-to-be published bulletin.
CCDC 220, 221, 222 – 2002 ‘Bond Forms’ (CCDC 220 – 2002 ‘Bid Bond’, CCDC 221 – 2002 ‘Performance Bond’ and CCDC 222 – 2002 ‘Labour and Material Payment Bond’)
CCA 16 – 1992 ‘Guidelines for Determining the Costs Associated with Performing Changes in the Work’
CCA 27 – 1997 ‘Guide on Construction Environmental Management Planning’
- This form was discontinued due to low usage/relevance.
CCA 81 – 2001 ‘A Best Practices Guide to Solid Waste Reduction’
- This form was discontinued due to low usage/relevance.
CCA 83 – 2004 ‘Environmental Best Practices Guide for Hot Mix Asphalt Plants’
- This form was discontinued due to low usage/relevance.
Guide – 1993 ‘Recommended Guidelines for Provisioning Geotechnical Information in Construction Contracts’
- This form was discontinued due to low usage/relevance.
