HRM planning for three-day shutdown of permitting and licensing online service on Dec. 2
The following information was distributed by HRM via email to stakeholders on November 10, 2022.
MEMO | HRM is preparing for the third, and final release of the Permit, Planning, Licensing & Compliance (PPL&C) service, targeted to be rolled out to the public in the New Year.
This release will bring Subdivision Applications and Planning Application processes like variances, site plan approvals, development agreements, rezoning and land use by-law amendments online. In addition to applying for a permit and/or a license, businesses & individuals will now also be able to apply for planning work online 24/7.
Service Disruption Planned for December 2, 2022
In preparation for the roll out of this release, an approximate 3-day shutdown of the current permitting and licensing online service will occur between Friday, December 2nd, and Monday December 5th. Standard office hours apply during this time with staff available for assistance.
