I am surrounded by a truly interesting and diverse group of colleagues. This role is my first in the construction industry and has me in a constant state of learning, which I love!
What is your favourite part of your workday?
It sounds cliché but I really do enjoy getting to know as many CANS members as possible, each and every day. Whether sharing the many CANS benefits with new Members or chatting about the value of CANS to lifelong supporters, I never tire of these interactions.
What sets CANS apart from your past jobs?
This is my first foray into a nonprofit organization and the work/life balance it affords here at CANS is fantastic.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’ve learned how to kayak & dragon boat on Lake Banook, now a summer staple! I’ve also subscribed to Sports Illustrated since 1996 (before some Members were born, I suppose!) — I love reading about and taking in just about any type of sporting event.
You will meet Gloria in-person at:
Members will see me front and centre at a great deal of events including the Member Mixers that I coordinate and larger-scale festivities like the De-Icer in the spring.
