Q&A

What do you like about working at CANS?

Actually enjoying going to my job every day!  I love a little bit of everything — the planning, the communication with CANS Members on educational development, and my new co-workers.

What is your favourite part of your workday?

Building relationships with CANS Members to help them meet their personal and organizational educational needs. Every day brings a new challenge and I am continually learning.

What sets CANS apart from your past jobs?

Having the option to work virtually. Having a forward-thinking, supportive company that realizes employees are an asset.  Also working with people who are excited about their professions.

Any unexpected or fun facts you can share about yourself?

In 2010, I received the Glady’s Isaac Award with Delta Hotels & Resorts (Top Sales Manager in Canada) and in 2013, I received the Lieutenant Governor’s Person with Disabilities Employer Partnership Award, which I was honoured to receive as I have two children with Learning Disabilities.  I also enjoy researching for my next trip.

Some of Tracy’s hobbies:

In my spare time, I like to do a variety of things such as reading, walking and/or biking through trails, and on the cold days watching action movies or baking. I am hopeful this summer to add more kayaking.
