Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW) is an annual national public education campaign designed to help open the eyes of Canadians to the reality of mental illness. On this page, you’ll find resources and more for employers, employees, and anyone looking to improve their understanding of and compassion for mental illness.
Each year, Truth and Reconciliation Day will be recognized on September 30th. Provincial government offices, public schools, and regulated childcare will be closed. Federal government offices and federally regulated workplaces will also be closed.
Despite significant market volatility as a result of high inflation and rising interest rates, the endowment fund performed well with a positive return of 7.1% for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022.
